Make a list
Make a list of the important things you want to put on your site and put everything in one place.
1- Pictures that show your products, services, store, building, crew, office personnel etc...
2- Got a company logo, see if you can get the original from your printer in a .gif or .jpg ...
3- Text/copy about your products, or services. Hours of operations, days of the week you are open etc...
4- Pick your site colors. Generally I use the colors of your logo or other printed materials.
5- Ideas
6- Send me a few URLs (www.SiteILike.com). If you like the site maybe we could do something similar.
Copyright Infringement
Under no circumstances will I knowingly use materials that are not owned by you. Copyright infringement is serious and can cause a suit to be brought against you.
It is a good idea to have your business name Trade Marked or Service Marked. There are programs out there that can search to find duplicate content, so make sure you write or own your text/copy. Also pictures can be copyrighted so let's take fresh ones or use the ones you have.
I have access to thousands of professional stock photos we can use if needed.

- return policy (I'll help here)
- Shipping policy (I'll help here)
All of this can be done by interview if necessary.
I'll guide and work with you every step of the way but some information will have to be provided by you or one of your staff members. Staying on schedule is necessary so waiting on material is one pitfall I'd very much like to avoid.
