What information do you want to be on your web site? Examples include:

• product catalog,
• portfolio,
• press releases,
• executive bios,
• career opportunities,
• help,
• FAQ,
• investor relations,
• board of directors,
• company locations,
• contact info,
• partners,
• company
• history,
• site map,
• articles,
• newsletters, etc.

You do not need to define every page. But you do need to give the designer a list of all the necessary content areas so the designer can create the web site structure and navigation.
